“Hey Meelo!” Korra beckoned the little air bender over.

“Would you like to help me groom Naga today?” 

Korra was trying to avoid the others on the island. She was just feeling frustrated lately with being unable to air bend or work the spiritual aspect of being the avatar. 

However, Korra always had a soft spot for the young boy and he was always good at cheering her up. 

He looked up from playing with one of the lemur’s ears that resided on the island with them and turned to Korra with a big goofy smile. “Korra!” He ran to her and jumped up on Naga’s head and started to pull on her ears and pet her forehead but pouted.

“This is a weird lookin’ bison! It doesn’t look like it can fly! Can it?” He pulled the ears of Naga, not enough to harm her but enough to possibly make her ‘fly’ or at least move.

Korra chuckled.

“Meelo, Naga is a polar bear dog, not a bison.” Korra said lightly.

“She can’t fly, but she can swim. Maybe I can take you out for a swim with her before we give her a bath?” Korra used her hand to rub the top of Naga’s head and then moved up to do the same to Meelo.
